What radiology coverage actually pays.
Not estimates and not averages: the figures facilities and staffing companies put in writing on public job boards, with the organisation named and the date we saw it. Radiologists send these to each other; facilities benchmark against them. We'll keep the list current as postings change.
The numbers, as posted
Each row is one posting. "Published by" is the organisation that wrote the rate. We copy the figure; we don't verify it, negotiate it, or promise it's still open.

What's missing is telling: of 93 locum, part-time and 1099 postings on the board that day, only six put a number in writing. The rest said "competitive." If you have seen a published rate we don't list, send the link to firas@radimatch.com and we'll add it with its source.
The units, decoded
Postings mix five different units, and they are not interchangeable.
Per hour
Paid for time on shift regardless of volume. Best for on-call, overnight, and shifts where the read count is unpredictable.
Per day
A flat figure for a shift, typically 8–12 hours. Ask what the day is defined as before comparing to an hourly rate.
Per read, RVU or wRVU
Paid per study. RVU includes practice and malpractice components; wRVU is the physician-work part only, so a wRVU rate is always the higher number for the same study.
Per week
Common for locum blocks: on-site figures usually include lodging and travel separately, so read the stipend line.
Annual band
For 1099 roles this is an estimate of yearly earnings at some assumed volume, not a salary. The assumptions are rarely stated.
Where the money goes
Two ways the same shift can be paid for. The agency margin below is the industry's typical range, not a figure from any listing above; the RadiMatch column is our actual formula.
Through an agency
Facility pays $450 per hour. Agency keeps 30–40%.
Through RadiMatch
Radiologist sets $450 per hour. Flat 15% platform fee on top.
